Synopsis

The Devil You Know is a narrative driven puzzle game which has the player interacting with various characters through impactful and carefully chosen dialogue choices, all while simultaneously playing “Hangman’s Bluff” (a modified version of “Bluff/Bullshit/BS”).

Rules

The Devil You Know is a mind-bending, manipulating card game. The core:
• Opponent plays first cards face down and announces value
• If you believe opponent is lying, you can call their bluff
• If you successfully call their bluff, they collect all cards on table
• If you call their bluff unsuccessfully, you must collect all cards on table
• If you play a card, your opponent may call bluff
• If they are successful, you must collect all cards on table
• If they are unsuccessful, they must collect all cards on table
• Whatever value your opponent says, you’ll need to match the same value
• If you don’t have cards of same value as opponent’s, you can pass or lie about their value
• Get rid of all your cards to win
